The ITR BUCKETS line is created and developed in the R&D and Engineering offices of the Italian Group thanks to outstanding design and engineering skills.

To ensure that the product conforms to the quality standards required by the market, tests and inspections are performed by ITR personnel at the facilities of certified manufacturers and upon entry to the Group's warehouses.

The ITR bucket range covers numerous applications comprising standard buckets, heavy duty buckets, rock buckets, ditch cleaning buckets, skeleton buckets, trapezoidal and tilting buckets for excavators as well as loader buckets, 4 in 1 buckets (multifunction for skid loaders and backhoe) and excavator ripper teeth. There is also a wide range of ITR wear protections which, in conjunction with the ITR wear line, allows the products to be customized to a great extent.

Using Swedish Steels’ (SSAB) Hardox and Weldox Structural steels, HSM can produce stronger and lighter excavator attachments for some of the most demanding environments on Earth. Decreasing work cycles times, increasing fill rates and reducing downtime. This combined with Chromium Carbide, Hardox 450, Hardox 500 and White iron wear package options, makes HSM’s attachments unrivaled.

In 2012 HSM were appointed as a 'SSAB Hardox in My Body' bucket manufacturer.

HSM now occupy part of Pallion Shipyard. Pallion is one of largest manufacturing halls in the region on the site of the former William Doxfords ship yard. Utilising two fifty tonne overhead cranes, giving a combined one hundred tonne lifting capacity for larger buckets and face shovels. HSM have installed one of the largest Oxy Gas/ Plasma profiling machines in the region.

Design and Engineering

HSM continues to invest in the latest design technologies. All design modelling and drafting use cutting edge 3D software and can work with all industry standard formats. HSM use the latest 3D Laser Scanners that allow accurate site surveys and inspection. This technology reduces the time engineers need on site and minimizes disruption to production. With a team of Designers, HSM can produce bespoke solutions from small scale Backhoes to large Face Shovels and Loaders. HSM also have close links with all the major ground engaging tools manufacturers - Esco, Hensley, Combi CQMS and Keech; and therefore have access to all the latest models, enabling the company to deliver a photo realistic concept to give clients the confidence that the product will be exactly what is required.

Mining and Quarrying

HSM Produces some of the finest Mining and Quarrying attachments for some of the harshest environments on the planet. Combined with custom made wear package options. The attachments produced far out last their rivals, using the finest Swedish Steel Hardox 450 & 500 for impact resistance and chromium carbide for abrasion. The only components you need replace are the wear parts.
